I am a mom and artist. Trained in ceramic sculpture, oil painting and photography, I’ve now found myself in the delightful position of starting over. Aguamala means ‘jellyfish’ in Spanish, a beautiful and mysterious animal of the sea. Like each of us, multi-faceted - not all good, not all bad.

I realized I wanted to be a muralist when I painted mountains in my son’s bedroom. Years later, his room remains my favorite and I never tire of walking into it, regardless of the mess on the floor.

My goal as an artist is to breathe new life into intimate spaces. The simplest addition of color can change your entire environment - from drab to bright, from sterile to cozy. We could all use a change of scenery right now, so let’s add a splash of color.
